Sean P. Bergquist is an ecologist with more than twenty years in environmental project management, across regulatory compliance, ecological restoration, and carbon and climate work. He has led programs with budgets up to $35 million and teams of up to 150 people, and has twenty-five years of permitting experience at municipal, state and federal levels.
He holds a Master of Environmental Management from Griffith University, an MBA from Warwick Business School, and a BA in Environmental Studies from UCLA. He has peer-reviewed publications in coastal and wetland science.
The apps on this site come out of that work. A field measurement is only worth taking if somebody downstream can rely on it, which means the method has to be defensible, the tool has to reproduce it faithfully, and both have to be written down where anyone can check them. That is what this site is for.
